The Community Centre is an ideal venue for social gatherings such as wedding receptions, children's parties and other celebratory occassions. Our meeting room also makes us an excellent location for that off-site meeting or training session. Centrally located between Coalville, Ibstock and Markfield we also serve the surrounding villages of Barleston, Ellistown, Merry Lees, Nailston, Thornton and Stanton-under-Bardon.

Our long term plan is to have an on-line booking system where you can see the availability of our rooms and book them directly on here. This isn't available at the moment so instead one of our trustees, Bob Austin has kindly volunteered to handle our bookings. The Front Hall

The front hall has recently been fully refurbished and is very light and airey. The hall is large enought to accommodate events and actives with up to 100 people. Although tables and chairs are not usually in the room they are available if needed. The front hall costs £10.00 for local residents and non-profit groups and £15.00 per hour for others.

The Rear Hall

The rear hall is available weekday afternoons and weekends during term-time. During school holidays it is available weekday mornings as well. The rear hall is large enough to accomodate events and activities with up to 72 people. There is also ample ceiling height to enable bouncy castles to be inflated. It also has it's own sink and toilets making it an ideal venue for childrens birthday parties. Although tables and chairs are not usually in the room they are available if needed. The rear hall costs £10.00 per hour for local residents and non-profit groups and £15.00 per hour for others.

The Stu Ball Meeting Room

The meeting room is the smallest room that we have available. It can accommodate meetings and activities with up to around 20 people. Tables and chairs are generally already in the meeting room though extra are available if needed. The meeting room costs £5.00 per hour for local residents and non-profit groups and £10.00 per hour for others. Included extras

Shared access to our commercial standard kitchen is included with any hall hire and there is a selection of rectangular and circular tables available and chairs available at no extra cost.
